Setting the sample name delimiters will allow the program to consolidate multiple electropherograms into a single consensus. The sample name can also be defined by its position.

The library delimiters can be used to enclose reference name abbreviations. These allow automation of the library selection so that multiple reference libraries can be used in every project.

A locus can be identified using one or more abbreviations.

For these settings, the electropherograms:

• 1_patient-350_locus[HLAB]2F.ab1
• 2_patient-350_locus[HLAB]2R.ab1

would be combined into a single sample called "patient-350" and aligned against the B reference.
