Installing IMGT/HLA Allele Libraries
Important Notices
1. Please note that from version 3.0 onwards, references will be posted with the version 3 WHO nomenclature. In order to retain NMDP code generation functionality and to generate allele reports with the "Table" format option, you must update the software to version 3.5.1.45 and download the NMDP codes file with version 3 WHO naming.
2. Beginning with Assign library release 2.28, a new HLA-DRB1 reference file will be included which enables interrogation of the 1st Hypervariable Region (1HVR) in exon 2. This new reference file is named "EDRB1" to differentiate it from the standard "DRB1" reference file. The "DRB1" reference file should continue to be used for assays where the 5' amplification primers are located in the 1HVR. Please refer to the technical bulletin for further information.
3. Using Assign 3.5+ references with earlier versions of the software, may cause electropherograms with primer identifiers such as 2F, 2R, 3F, 3R, 4F, 4R to be incorrectly recognized as resolving primers. Please note that references for Assign 3.5.0 will no longer be posted on the web site. If you are using Assign 3.5.0 please contact us at support@conexio.ii.net in order to obtain the latest references.
Download Instructions
1. If you are using Assign 3.5 just click "Update | Libraries" as in the tutorial.
2. Alternatively, download the zip file corresponding to the library version that you require.
3. Unzip the files into a temporary directory. If you do not have a password, it can be obtained by contacting support@conexio.ii.net
4. Each library contains a document describing all the changes that have been made since the previous release version.
5. All files should be placed in the Assign references folder (the default is "C:\Program Files\Conexio Genomics\Assign 351\data\references" for earlier versions of the software or "C:\Program Files\Conexio Genomics\Assign 3.5.1.45\data\references" for the most recent release).
6. Please check that the Assign library and references folders given above contain files that were created at the appropriate time for your download. If you require further information, please don't hesitate to contact us at support@conexio.ii.net.
